Here we go again!

Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to be a writer. I wanted to sit on my wrap around porch, look out onto our acres of land surrounded by trees, and write.  In second grade our teacher would have us cut out pictures out of magazines, glue it onto lined paper, and make up a story about that picture. I was the student that would go through my mother’s magazines and create more stories for fun. In high school I took 2 years of creative writing while all my other friends were in literature focused classes.

I have started many blogs. I have had a blog where we were a family of 3 chicks and a rooster. I had a blog about my princesses. I had a blog where I focused on book reviews. I never found my true niche. Probably why these blogs never stuck.

Yes, I am surrounded by my girls -princess chicks- and my husband -rooster- (I bet he loved that nickname), but I felt it lacking. Yes, I still read and love telling people about the amazing books (and fails) that find their way onto my nightstand.

Have I found my niche yet?

Honestly, not really.

My life is crazy. I juggle being a Jesus follower, a wife, a parent, a teacher, a health enthusiast, an aspiring author, and a socialite. I like to over plan and then resort to my introverted self by hiding under the covers with a glass of wine, and my binge-worthy show of the moment.

I am trying to find the happy medium to life… I know, aren’t we all? Maybe I can help myself and you, the reader at the same time, because we are all in this together! Logo for now
